OK | Más informaciónArticle 2.1 of Royal Decree 687/2002, of 12 July (BOE no. 167, of 13 July), approving the regulation enacting the Trademark Act, Law 17/2001, of 7 December, stipulates:
"If the applicant of a trademark or trade name does not wish to claim a specific graphic, sound, form or colour, the trademark or trade name in the application will be reproduced in standard written form in capital letters, numbers and punctuation marks typewritten or printed using any suitable resource. In such a case, the applicant must make a declaration to this effect in their application. The trademark will then be published and registered in the standard characters used by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office."
In accordance with the aforementioned provision, interested parties are hereby notified that the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office uses the following standard characters to publish and register this type of trademark:

These characters can be reproduced by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office in commonly used fonts such as Arial, Times New Roman, Courier and other types in standard sizes ranging from 10 to 16 points.
