New Director of the SPTOOn October 4, the Council of Ministers appointed Aida Fernández González Director of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO). The new director has a degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid and later completed the Master's Degree in Journalism at Diario ABC, collaborating also with them. In 2010, she joined the Superior Corps of State Civil Administrators. In the General State Administration, she has served as Chief of Staff of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Business, Parliamentary Advisor to the Cabinet of the Vice President of the Government and Minister of the Presidency and of the Minister of Economy and Competitiveness, as well as Technical Adviser of the Cabinet of the Undersecretary of Development. Since 2018, she has been Chief of Staff of the Undersecretary for Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation. We wish you the best of success in this new period!
